Hortense Bioy, CFA, is global director of sustainability research for Morningstar UK Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. Based in London, Bioy leads Morningstar’s environmental, social, and governance research efforts globally, with the objective of educating investors and providing them with the tools they need to evaluate funds through an ESG lens. Prior to assuming this role in February 2021, she was responsible for Morningstar’s sustainability research in EMEA for three years. Before transitioning to a dedicated ESG focus, Bioy was European director of passive strategies research. She led an award-winning team that provides research on exchange-traded funds and index funds. Bioy joined Morningstar as an ETF analyst in 2010 from Bloomberg, where she was a financial journalist. She began her career as a mergers and acquisitions analyst at Société Générale in Hong Kong. Bioy holds a master’s degree in finance from Paris Dauphine University and a postgraduate degree in finance from Paris-Sorbonne University. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Gilles joined the company in 2015 and is responsible for DWS’ passive client coverage in Switzerland and Israel, including ETPs and passive mandate solutions. Prior to that, he worked for various ETF providers and consulting companies in the areas of sales, structuring and strategy, such as BNP Paribas, BlackRock, Invesco and Accenture. He has many years of experience in sustainable investments and is the DWS ESG representative for the Swiss market. Gilles holds a B.Sc. in Business and International Finance from the UvA in Amsterdam and is CESGA certified.
Aela joined Fidelity International in 2017 to assist in the integration of ESG analysis across asset classes, company engagements, and internal initiatives to enhance our ESG strategy and processes. Since February 2021, she is Assistant Portfolio Manager for the Fidelity Sustainable Eurozone Equity and Fidelity Sustainable European Equity funds. Prior to joining Fidelity, Aela worked as a Responsible Investment Analyst at USS Investment Management and also Novethic. Aela has passed Level 2 of the CFA Program, the IMC and holds a Master’s degree in financial management from Toulouse Business School, France.
Ruben joined ZKB in June 2020 to support Swisscanto Invest’s ESG Strategy and Business Development, including spearheading the asset manager’s commitments to the Paris Climate targets. Prior positions held include Head of Quantitative Research & Licensing at RobecoSAM and Global Head of Index Concepts at the index provider Stoxx, among others. Ruben holds a Bachelor in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin and a Master in Financial Engineering from UC Berkeley.
Nick joined the ThomasLloyd Group in 2018. He serves as Managing Director, Head of Research. His scope of responsibility includes the macroeconomic research which underpins our ‘top down’ country selection in the ThomasLloyd Investment Process (TIP), the FX and currency research which informs our Treasury Management. Previously within the firm Nick also defined the policies, which set out our approach to Responsible Investment. During a 35-year career in investment banking, Nick held various senior leadership roles in Global Markets Research. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as Head of Research, UK & Europe at National Australia Bank. He also worked as Head of Markets Research at Commerzbank and Global Head of Currency Research at Banque Paribas.
Sara Rosner is the Director of Environmental Research and Engagement on the Responsible Investment team. She co-chairs the firm’s ESG Research, Training and Thought Leadership Group and manages AB’s collaboration with Columbia University’s Earth Institute, which focuses on enhancing investors’ ability to integrate climate change considerations into their decision-making and investment processes. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Rosner performed research for the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment, where she worked on projects related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and renewable energy alternatives in the extractive industry. She spent most of her early career as a journalist covering energy and infrastructure finance in the Americas for Euromoney Institutional Investor. Rosner is a global member of 100 Women in Finance and a financial literacy volunteer with the High Water Women Foundation. She holds a BS in international studies, magna cum laude, from Pepperdine University and an MS in sustainability management from Columbia University.
Sébastien Thévoux-Chabuel kam 2013 zu Comgest und ist Leiter des Bereichs Responsible Investment als auch Mitglied im Investment und Responsible Investment Committee der Comgest-Gruppe. Als langjähriger ESG-Analyst und Portfoliomanager mit Spezialisierung auf Industrieländer, insbesondere Europa und den USA, tauscht sich Sébastien Thévoux-Chabuel mit dem Management sowie den Investmentanalysten eines Unternehmens aus, um auf dieser Basis ausführliche ESG-Berichte zu erstellen. Bevor er zu Comgest kam, arbeitete er bei Oddo Securities, bei der er als Analyst für Technologiewerte einstieg und anschließend fünf Jahre als Analyst für Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) tätig war. Zuvor war Sébastien Thévoux-Chabuel als Portfoliomanager bei BFT Gestion (Crédit Agricole) tätig und begann seine Karriere 1998 als Buy-Side-Analyst bei der Deutschen Bank. 1997 erlangte er einen Abschluss an der ESCP Business School in Paris und schloss anschließend ein Postgraduate-Studium in Financial Engineering an der Sorbonne Universität Paris ab.
Sandy Wolf joined Pictet’s Thematic Equities team in 2018, focusing on Impact Investing and ESG integration across all Thematic strategies. Prior to assuming her current role, she was a Senior Product Manager with responsibility for global product launches, capacity management and regulatory projects in Pictet AM’s Product Management and Development team. Before joining Pictet in 2010, Sandy spent more than 10 years in product management and marketing-related roles at Union Bancaire Privée, Deutsche Bank and Zurich Financial Services. Sandy is a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) and holds a degree from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
10 years of experience in finance, including 5 years in due diligence and investment management across renewable energy and private equity. Natalia was exposed to numerous clean infrastructure transactions in Emerging Market countries and acknowledges the key role these countries play in driving the Energy Transition. She holds a Master Degree of the University of Zurich in Finance with focus in quantitative finance.
