Your Finanz und Wirtschaft Forum
Finanz und Wirtschaft are delighted to invite you to our very first Corporate Governance Excellence conference. This half-day event will be reviewing and analysing an extraordinary 2020 from the perspective of Swiss boards of directors. The evening of the conference will be given over to a gala dinner and awards ceremony during which the most accomplished boards of directors of the year will be revealed.
This will be the ninth time that Inrate and FuW have scrutinised and carefully analysed the corporate governance performance of the supervisory boards of listed Swiss companies. Our presentations and panel discussions throughout the afternoon will explore selected topics including the work and function of a board of directors in times of crisis, the interplay between board members and management, prioritising diversity and sustainability and the role of M&A and strategic alliances to ensure future success.
Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in this exclusive new platform giving board members, executive board members and industry specialists a unique opportunity to engage with each other on a professional level. Invest in your knowledge and ensure you are up to date with the best corporate governance practices.
We very much look forward to welcoming you on 8 July.

Chamber music from members of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra
We are looking forward to the chamber music contribution of members of the West-Eastern Diven Orchestra (TBA programme). The orchestra, founded in 1999 by conductor and pianist Daniel Barenboim and literary scholar Edward Said, consists of Israeli and Arab musicians and performs in various musical formats worldwide. The basis for the musical and personal dialogue is always the principles of equality, cooperation and justice that apply to all. Since its founding, the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra has shown that music can break through seemingly insurmountable barriers. In February 2016, it was named a UN Ambassador for Cultural Understanding.
